Appointments
Your prenatal visits will be every four weeks during your pregnancy, until your 32nd week, when they increase to every two weeks. Then at 36 weeks, we will meet with you every week until your baby is born.
Prenatal testing
and laboratory work*
During your prenatals, you can expect open and honest communication with your midwives. We will offer you education and up-to-date information on all testing options. We will then give you time to make your informed decision and will always support whatever decision you feel is best for your family. Most testing can be done here, at our center, during your regular prenatal visits.
*Lab fees are separate and billed by the lab.
Labor and Delivery
Our Birthing Suites
At Bella Vie, our rooms are uniquely different and gorgeous, offering your family luxury, comfort and safety. Each private and spacious suite includes a state-of-the art birthing tub, approved by Waterbirth International, and medical equipment mindfully tucked away.
Your room will also include a queen-sized bed, perfect for snuggling with your newly formed family. For your entertainment and comfort, we offer stereos, televisions and DVD players. Our desire is to make you feel like you are in the comfort of your own home, with the addition of all of the extras like plush towels, candles, and an endless supply of personalized care.
Furthermore, here at Bella Vie, we are deeply conscious of the toll that chemicals take on the environment, families, and especially babies. Therefore, we strive to use natural products whenever reasonable.
Careful thought goes into making your stay as healthy and nourishing as possible. From the nutritious and satisfying food that you eat, to the purified "Living Water" that you will drink and even the air that you breathe using Nikken's Air Purification System has been thoughtfully researched and provided. Bella Vie is more then a birth center, but a retreat that will nourish your mind, body and soul during this amazing time in your life.
